

Our adventure to Indonesia last summer certainly gave us a new appreciation for art of other cultures. So we hope that you all have a chance to take advantage of Asian Art Weekend down at the Milwaukee Art Museum this weekend!

All information provided will be verbal, not written, and available to the first two hundred attendees. No values will be given. 8:30–11 pm Dance the night away with one of Milwaukee’s hottest Latin music ensembles.
SALSA LESSONS 8–9 pm Heat things up on the dance floor, with help from Salsabrosa Dance Company.
TEQUILA TASTING 6–8 pm Sample a selectionof blue agave spirits of the finest variety, courtesy of Bel Air Cantina.
THE TOOL AT HAND 5–11 pm What happens when you ask an artist to make a work of art with only one tool? Explore the artworks of fourteen contemporary artists who took on that challenge.
CHIPS-AND-SALSA TASTING 6–8 pm Wake up your taste buds with chips and hot hot hot salsa from some of the area’s best restaurants.
RADIO MILWAUKEE DJs 5–11:30 pm Jam out to cool tunes with DJ Madhatter, Jordan Lee.
DIY STUDIO 5–11 pm See what spicy inventions you can create while you rest your feet.
FRONT ROOM PHOTO BOOTH 7–10 pm Capture the heat of the moment and say ¡baile!
